Her piece entitled ‘ 15 people swinging… and much more’ is an interactive video projection concerned with nostalgia and diaspora. The work relates to Kiss’s time spent away from her family over the last 10 years her friends have since become like family members. The tree in the video and the swinging people through their interaction turn in to the microcosm of a community.

These four video pieces examine the possibility of Super 8, live performance and any out dated technology. Through these antiquated mediums Nicholas allows us to ‘visit’ his home in Brooklyn. The artist is concerned with the narrative space between different cultural based stories and the production of them in a new context.
