Exhibition by Clare Keogh - Over the Counter
Currently showing at the restaurant is a body of work by artist Clare Keogh. These beautifully-composed photographs are obviously works of art; but they, together with the accompanying testimonies, will also serve as historical documents, capturing what appears to be a disappearing world. The subjects of these photographs, literally and aesthetically, speak of a slower pace of life, a less frantic time. The historically-moulded shape and ambience, the look and feel of the places lovingly and skillfully recorded and celebrated here may alter, but their essence can be maintained. |
